When you’re finished doing that, there’s something I need you to do for me. Oh, and someone over there could use your help too when you have a minute. Might pressure and the amount of perceived obligation you have to certain people be increasing? Note the word ‘perceived’. You think you have no choice but to keep certain people happy or fulfill obligations to them. There is help and freedom available to you if you’re willing to accept both.
You could certainly engage yourself in an online game of solitaire, or you could sit in a room by yourself and do a crossword puzzle. You could also take a nap, make yourself a list of chores, or even right down a series of resolutions for the new year. But you would be much better off getting out and about, and looking for opportunities. There are several waiting for you right now, but you will have to seek them out - they won’t come to you. Resist the urge to be alone. Put a smile on your face instead, and go out and find happiness.
(This is what I need right now.)
